These are all really cool! The single stitching for the huge projects, like Ichigo, is a good idea, too. I think it would make a lot of things a lot more bearable while working on them. ^^;

Love Ichigo and the pillows. I'd love to make cross stitched pillows if my stupid sewing machine would work Rolling Eyes

Should just take it into the sewing store and they can send it out to be fixed.
It might need some maintenance!!! Mine should go in..... hasn't been checked over since I got it 15 plus years ago!!

From the problem I discribed to one of the ladies at the local sewing shop, she says it might just be a matter of some tightening. No matter what I do, the bobbin thread won't catch. If I can ever find a job, I hope to have it fixed.

Have you tried buying thread that is a bit more expensive??
I know I had that problem-- I bought cheaper thread once-- it wouldn't sew with it!!!
So now I pay a bit more for the sewing thread and haven't had any problems!!

Have you ever had a problem with the stuffing from the pillow coming out between the wholes in the fabric?

I usually make a pillow form first...... so I wouldn't have that problem.
Also if you use 3-4 strands it does help too!!

--I've never had that problem, however, with my xstitch projects, if I make them into pillows, every single square is stitched, so there are no holes there, and I use a sewing machine to make the actual pillow.
